Frequently Asked Questions
Factoring
Also known as accounts receivable (AR) financing, freight factoring is a financial solution that allows you to submit open invoices for payment within 24 hours to increase cash flow.
RTS purchases the invoice at a competitive factoring rate and advances more than 90 percent of the total within 24 hours. Once the invoice is paid, we will send the remaining balance minus a small fee.
No, freight factoring is not a loan. The capital provided is based on the credit of your customers, not your balance sheet. This allows you to gain immediate cash without assuming new debt.
Funding limits may vary depending on your business and your buyers' creditworthiness. If you work with creditworthy buyers, there may be no limit.
Fuel
To get access to your fuel discounts, you must visit locations in the RTS Plus fuel network and use your card at the pump. You cannot access your fuel discounts at out-of-network stations.
To find fuel stations within the RTS Plus fuel network, please use the Fuel map feature in the RTS mobile app.

TMS
A transportation management system (TMS) optimizes and streamlines logistics operations by managing shipping, route optimization, freight tracking, fleet administration, documentation and more.
A TMS helps fleets run more efficiently, stay organized and grow their business. Trucking software improves operational visibility and centralizes fleet data — from dispatching and load tracking to invoicing and driver pay statements. Essentially, a TMS eliminates the need for messy spreadsheets and minimizes errors from manual data entry.
Our TMS is built to work seamlessly with tools you already use. We offer key integrations with major ELD providers, toll services, accounting platforms like QuickBooks, fuel card programs, IFTA tools and many more.
TMS onboarding typically takes about 30 days, but training and implementation are tailored based on your unique needs. We also offer 1:1 implementation, unlike many other major trucking software brands.
Our flexible TMS has varying plans for fleets of all sizes — from one to 500 trucks. Whether you need baseline TMS features for a small operation or require a comprehensive platform with accounting, dispatch, safety and maintenance modules, RTS has a software plan for you.
